Joppa and Coastal Scents sales

Well... I really needed some new e/s brushes and I'm trying to phase out my natural hair brushes for synthetic ones. I had been debating whether I should get the Coastal Scents 15pc set or the Lumiere 9 pc set. The 20% brush sale at Coastal Scents solved my problems! ;) I paid only 15.96 for 15 brushes, quite a deal IMHO :) Shipping was quite high - $10.47 for first class mail, but still I paid less than 2$ for each brush in total.

I got some samples from Joppa during the free shipping sale a few weeks ago and today I took the opportunity to get some full sizes using the 29% code "LEAP". My first impression of the Joppa shadows was that they looked very dull and boring, but they have been growing on me. I really like the satin finish and great staying power now. I got 5g pots of these 4 colors: Purity, Egg Nod, Tranquility and Pearl - great basic colors for the office! :) I also got some samples of the Simple Radiance foundation.

The She Space Velvets and Twinkling + some Joppa

I got my samples from the first two Color Fest collections from The She Space yesterday. The colors are very pretty and I love the finish of the Sprinkling of Twinkling collection. The finish doesn't differ much from the regular collection, (but that's not a bad thing). :)  I wasn't as impressed with my Velvet Ladies
samples, but then I haven't tried them on my eyes yet. Heather was also kind enough to bubble the size of the full size Heat It Up Powder I ordered, yay! :)

I also got my order from Joppa's free shipping sale. The shipping was super fast, 5 days from US to Sweden, WOW!
The shadows looked pretty dull in the sample bags, but gave a nice satin finish. They will be useful as great base shadows and the staying power seems to be good too.

I noticed that the Joppa shadows that are described as shimmery still are more matte than the She Space Velvets, LOL!  I got 5 free sample bags with this order and a sample of the Perfecting Eye Cream too. :) I ordered some foundation and finishing powder samples too and all the colors look great. I will try them out soon.
